The Finance Department at the Aging Commission of the Mid-South is responsible for the financial operations of the Area Agency on Aging and Disability. We have a fiscal responsibility to plan, coordinate, and maximize all revenue to assist senior citizens in Shelby, Fayette, Lauderdale and Tipton Counties. The finance department delivers a broad range of accounting functions which include payroll, accounts payable, receivables, purchasing, human resources, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, analyses and annual on-site monitoring of each provider.

The finance department is committed to providing friendly customer service to both external and internal customers by being efficient and accountable for all fiscal operations. We strive to achieve a 5-day turn around time on all invoices submitted for payment. Our goal is to not only meet but to exceed the expectations of our providers and customers.
