WHAT IS THIS PROGRAM ABOUT?

 

The Office of the Public Guardian provides conservatorship services to persons who are 60 years of age and older who are unable to manage their own affairs and who have no family member, friend, bank or corporation willing to act on their behalf. The Program may serve persons under 60 for a fee. The District Public Conservator through court appointment and supervision makes decisions for the care and management of the person and/or property of a disabled individual.
